::sigh::

This week has been very odd and emotional for me.

As ALL of my readers have I'm sure noticed, that my blogging and rambling has been absent this week. Due to working two jobs almost back to back every day, PMS emotions and awful skin resulting in picking with now crusty zits, overgrown eyebrows (i need them pristine before italy...i have to wait till friday::sigh::), disconcerning news about my dads friend, and to top everything off double conjunctivitus topped of with a mondo stye in BOTH my eyes, which has forced me to wear my glasses all the time but don't worry, the lens is loose and the bitter old woman swore to me it wasn't when I went to get it fixed..... atleast the weather has been nothing short of AWFUL. Really 65 is the high in June? again ::sigh::

and i leave in a week for Italy and am overly anxious so I can't stop sighing. Atleast today was topped off by the boy I nanny screaming at me "my life would be better if you were not in it..." Now, I know he was shouting it at me to try and make me feel bad for punishing him...but when you poor yourself a glass of milk (after I asked you to have water instead) when I leave the room to go wipe his sister, who's on the toilet....there will be reprecussions to your poor behavior. ::sigh::

This picture helps me to see the bright side on everything: I will be in ITALY in ONE WEEK, with some of my favorite people ever. I have two jobs, when some people don't have any. I receive free birth control every day from nannying this kid. I'm 1/4 of the way done with my dad's new book and it's awesome. I have the best friends and family and I'm reminded of that every day.

See, I can be positive and take a deep breath ::sigh::

This past week in church, I was perusing the book of Psalms and found one of the chapters to be very comforting. I'll leave you with this.

Psalm 37
Trust in the LORD and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Delight yourself in the LORD and
he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn,
the justice of your cause like the noonday sun.
Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when men succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
For evil men will be cut off, but those who hope
in the LORD will inherit the land. A little while,
and the wicked will be no more;though you look
for them, they will not be found. But the meek
will inherit the land and enjoy great peace.

I apologize for all the writing, but I guess I just had to vent. It's been a long week. TGIF

Shannon! I am so sorry about your week. It doesn't get much worse then battling pink eye, fielding tantrums, and preparing for a huge trip. All. At. Once.

That Psalm is really comforting, though...AND, 1 week from today you will be OFF, (all the stress of packing behind you), to Italy!!!! I am so happy you get to go; it is a much deserved break for all of you to enjoy some relaxation together!!

Love you!
